My Story
My love for Scentsy began in 2010 when I received my first Scentsy warmer from my beautiful daughter-in-law, Kim Avila. I had never heard of Scentsy before but was hooked immediately. When my daughter saw my warmer and smelled the Cider Mill scent I was warming, she immediately fell in love with the product and decided she would become a Consultant - I agreed to join this venture with her. She signed up and did really well, and, on the plus side, was able to get lots of free and half-priced products and making new friends. Unfortunately, due to other work commitments, she had to resign. Since I was already hooked, it was then that I decided to join. I did my research and found the perfect Scentsy Team! Never looked back!!!
All the Scentsy products are amazing and they truly sell themselves. This new venture has not only provided me with extra $$, but I now belong to a great Scentsy Family and an awesome team. I have been very fortunate to earn several trips to the annual Scentsy family reunions. My trips have been amazing - meeting so many new people, re-acquainting with others, and a great time bonding, not only with my Team members, but other consultants that have so much wisdom to share. These opportunities have given me an insight to what Reunion is all about - from the Scentsy Spirit, to the owners of the company, not to mention very inspirational keynote speakers (out of this world!), and all the showcase products. Oh, and the freebies and benefits of going to Reunion are always a hit. Will definitely make the Reunion my one trip I plan on every year....and Scentsy makes it so affordable by allowing us to either use a payment plan or earn our trips.
Scentsy is all about giving back and helping their Consultants run successful businesses. In 2018, I went to my second Reunion trip in Anaheim - all of the amazing perks as the year before but this one included a visit at Disneyland and Adventureland - Scentsy style!
I have made many new friends, with other Consultants and lots of new customers. My SuperStar Director, Veronica, is always so encouraging and motivating. She is always available to answer any questions, making my job so much easier. The team network of Consultants is very supportive. Our Team Directors, myself included, can always be counted on to assist with any questions, training, and we all inspire and empower each other.
Had to opportunity to attend World Tour, held at the infamous AT&T Stadium in Dallas! Exciting times because I had never been to this stadium - very impressive. Lots of great presentations for a great learning experience, but again, the bonding and friendships are what it's all about.
Update: in September 2020, I promoted to Director!!! OMG, that was definitely not in plans but of course, not possible without my higher Power, my amazing Team and loyal customers. That's right - in a pandemic year! That just goes to show what amazing products Scentsy has to offer - even the "Rona" couldn't stop us...lol I have really enjoyed bonding with my Team and consider it a blessing and honor to be able to mentor them along the way.
